Bunny Cake

Happy Easter! Chocolate bunnies, peeps, jelly beans, etc... all have a language of their own. Although this blog is not intended to be a cooking/baking blog, I still want to share my creation from yesterday. Times have been tough economically speaking. Without a lot of extra cash to buy an Easter basket, which I still give to my teenager on Easter mornings, I decided to bake a cake. What could be more natural than that for the Cake Whisperer?

Anyway... there were many many bunny cake ideas on the web. I chose this one, but added my own geometry to get the ears just right and used a dollop of frosting for the tail. He's cute, isn't he? Hopefully, my teen will be generous enough to share her bunny with mommy.

Welcome to my first post! I don't think I'm alone when I say--- "I talk cake." This is my number one temptation and culinary indulgence. However, I am also fluent in donut, cookie, and cupcake as well as Romance Languages such as chocolate, cheese, and wine. The scary thing is they all talk back! Can you imagine the cacophony I hear when I walk into a bakery!

All kidding aside... this blog is my attempt to journal my eating habits and happiness, and how the two are linked, like bread and butter, like biscuits and gravy, like pb and j, like... you get the drift. I'm a big sexy woman who loves to eat and knows how to bake, which can be dangerous combination. That's some food for thought.
